because a little can do a lot.

As most of you know, Beckett has been attending The Francis Allen School for the past 6 months. In that short time he has surpassed so many goals that he has been able to completely stop his physical therapy. His fine motor and verbal skills are dramatically improving, due exclusively to the school’s unique therapeutic environment. The Allen School serves children with various challenges, from birth to five years old. Every day I am privileged to observe as the Allen School enables these children to achieve goals such as walking up and down stairs, eating solid foods, making eye contact, singing songs, playing on the playground, and generally acting like children. These may seem like little things, but to the parent who wants nothing more than for their child to reach his or her potential and have the opportunity to interact with other children, there is no greater sight.

The Allen School has recently celebrated the opening of a new addition which will allow them to provide services to even more children. The new building is amazing, but they deserately need materials and supplies for the larger classrooms and updated equipment for the therapy areas. In short, they need our help.

Please consider making a donation to The Allen School as part of your holiday giving this year.  Your support can help make a difference in the lives of many children.

So, click here if you are so inclined. Bex and all his friends will thank you. I might even get it on tape…

And to all of you who have already given so generously, from the bottom of my heart: Thank you.
